We’ve been with Flicks since the previous Sandgate pest control company was taken over by. Most technicians who came in to attend services were attention to details and hold great work ethics. We’re lucky that so far we’ve no concerns and happy with the regular services that Flick provided.
Recently we’ve some ant nesting issue in our backyard for the first time. Kyle took the time to call myself to discuss what it needs to be done over the phone even though I’m not home. I feel appreciated for his effective communication and transparent of what he thinks. He provided us with great advice and shown his work professionalism during the phone call. Review update: just want to thank the north region team leader for contacting me and rectifying this situation. I received a call and confirmation email apologising profusely for what had happened and waiving the remainder owing. Very appreciative of how this situation was handled by Craig and have updated my review accordingly to recognise the effort made to remedy the situation. While what happened initially was not ideal, the efforts made by a business to rectify a situation when things go awry are what really matter, and based on this I would recommend Flick. I would just advise others that have issues they feel are not resolved adequately in the first instance to ask to speak to a team leader.
Used Flick for years on the plan where you pay a monthly amount for services throughout the year, and had to cancel last year due to cost of living and not residing in the property. Had no services in 2025, but Flick still made me pay $96 that I apparently owed. They didn’t let me know until this year and after calling them to sort it out, insisted on payment despite the aforementioned no services. I accepted this despite thinking it’s ridiculous, and I used the payment link they sent me to pay and this link said it was successfully paid. Was still receiving emails saying I owe money so after multiple attempts of trying to contact them and get through, they said they had to process it manually (not mentioned to me previously, and the payment link I used said it was successful). So of course they process it manually and only half the payment works, and now I have to call back another time (which wouldn’t have happened if the link I was provided to use for payment worked like it said it did). What a stuff around. Very disappointed and would not recommend Flick over their handling of this, while I had no issues with the services itself, this is just ridiculous.
