    How much does this cost/can you send me a price?

    In the same way that every home, office or business is different, so is every service. A residential disinfection service starts from $300 for a standard three-bedroom home. Our friendly customer care member can provide you with a quote for your home, office, workplace.

    Is the service safe?

    Our service is eco-friendly and completely safe for the community. We recommend you cover any food related items prior to the service. After the service you will need to allow approximately one hour for the disinfectant to dry after which you can re-enter your home, office or business.

    Is the service environmentally safe?

    Our disinfectant is non-corrosive, non-toxic and eco-friendly with ingredients that degrade naturally. The product is not considered to be a hazard to the environment under normal use and is safe for families, pets and the community.

    Is the treatment safe for pets?

    Our service is eco-friendly and completely safe for people and pets. After the service you will need to allow 1 hour for the disinfectant to dry after which you can re-enter your home, office or business.

    Is it safe for kids to return and play with their toys after the Disinfection service has been completed?

    The Disinfectant used for the service is unlikely to have any effect on the occupants including kids when returning to the site. As with all our pest services a thorough risk assessment will be undertaken prior to conducting the service. Our team will advise you of which items will need to be covered prior to the treatment and the ventilation time required after treatment.

    Can it be used around babies, elderly people, and pregnant women?

    Our product can be safely used in normal household spray and wipe applications around all humans and pets. When being used in large amounts or in fogging applications we recommend that all persons and pets are absent from the area until treatment is complete. You can only renter your home approximately one hour after treatment to allow the disinfectant to dry. The technician will advise you on the ventilation time require for your premises.

    What are the likely effects if the disinfectant contacts the eyes or if someone drinks it?

    The product will not damage eyes if it makes contact, however eye contact should be avoided. Our product should not be ingested. Our technicians adhere to strict guidelines the safety handling and storage of our products.

    What happens if my child or pet swallows some product after it has been applied?

    The product is safe to use and non-toxic and should not cause any health problems during such limited exposure. We recommend that you allow the treatment to dry for the time specified by your technician.

    What surfaces can the product be used on?

    Our product is safe to use on all surfaces, including food preparation areas. However, this product is not food grade and all food products are required to be covered prior to the disinfection taking place.

    Does this kill COVID-19?

    Our disinfection treatments are currently being used all over the world (including Spain, Italy, Singapore, Malaysia and many more) to effectively stop the risk and spread of corona viruses.

    How long does the treatment last on surfaces?

    The treatment is active on surfaces anywhere from 24 hours to 30 days after application in areas with normal levels of traffic. We recommend regular treatments help to ensure maximum effectiveness for high traffic areas.

    Can the disinfectant be used on fabrics and bedsheets?

    Our product is formulated for and typically used on hard surfaces for disinfection. Other procedures such as sanitising and industrial washing that are generally used for sheets, gowns, blankets etc

    How long does this service take?

    The service can vary in length depending on the size of the premises but our general rules are 1 hour for a small office less than 2500m3 or a home under 4 bedrooms. Approximately 2 hours for a medium business up to 8000m3 or large home over 5 bedrooms. Large premises need to be estimated on a case-by-case basis. As each service is different some sites may require two or more technicians. The service time does not include the time required to ventilate the premises.

    How often (what timeframe) should Disinfectant treatments be completed?

    The timeframe for re-application for disinfection treatments will be different for each site. We recommend the following as a guideline to reduce risk:
    • High traffic areas such as bus depots, train stations, airports, shopping centres or large commercial environments with multiple visitors – Daily
    • Schools / Large commercial offices with the same people occupying – Weekly
    • Small offices with low occupancies – Fortnightly to Monthly

    Can a Disinfection service be completed in conjunction with a General Pest service? Will there be any cross-contamination issues?

    YES, we can do both services in the one visit. This is because the treatment methodologies and target areas are unique to each service. There should be NO cross-contamination issues between the disinfectant and pesticide.

    What are the products that you are using?

    We currently employ the use of several products with very similar properties, that are being used globally to help fight the spread and risk of coronavirus.

    What is the active ingredient in the disinfectant?

    The Active Ingredient is: 0.1 – 1% N-(3-aminopropyl)-N-dodecyl-1,3-propanediamine.

    What other viruses can the Disinfection Service kill?

    The active component has been tested against the following specific viruses:
    • H1N1 Influenza A virus (enveloped virus) EN14476
    • Bovine enterovirus Type 1 (non-enveloped virus) EN14675
    • Bovine Viral Diarrhoea Virus (surrogate for Hepatitis C –enveloped virus)
    • Vaccinia virus (strain Elstree –enveloped virus)
    These viruses are representative of both enveloped and non-enveloped viruses. Therefore, the product is effective also against both enveloped viruses e.g. Coronavirus and non-enveloped viruses e.g. Norovirus. 

    Is the disinfectant active against Food-borne Pathogens?

    Yes, our product is effective against the following food-borne pathogens. The most common types of food-borne illnesses are:
    • bacterial e.g. Salmonella, Campylobacter, E. coli and Listeria.
    • viral e.g. Norovirus, Rotavirus and Hepatitis A.
    • pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus cereus and Clostridium perfringens.
