Bird Proofing Solutions

Tailor-made solutions for effective and professional bird proofing

Our focus is to secure buildings or specific areas by using different methods to prevent birds from settling down or from finding areas where they can build nests. All of our solutions work on the basis that birds will not come to any harm. Our bird proofing solutions include:

Bird in Building

If a bird should happen to enter into a building, we can often trap the bird using methods which do not harm the bird.

Our pest bird feeding program is the cost-effective option that still achieves effective results. Recognised by RSPCA, Parks and Wildlife organisations, and the Department of Agriculture as a humane method of bird control, our feeding program uses specialised hallucinogenic-based bird feed. Most effectively used on pigeons in build up areas for a discreet control treatment.

Acoustic Pressure

Acoustic devices delivering a very high-frequency tone, which is inaudible to humans, causes birds to vacate areas. It is a good solution for open spaces, where usual methods cannot be used, for example, in front of entrances.

Daddi Long Legs

This solution employs thin, stainless steel rods which rotate in the wind and wave menacingly, frightening and deterring birds when they attempt to settle.

Eagle Eye System

Made of ABS plastic and stainless steel, this system refracts and reflects sunlight to frighten away birds from open spaces. This system harmlessly relocates bird by temporarily disorientating them and irritating them with reflected light beams. Using a 12-volt electric motor the solution is continuously in motion and has proven to reduce the numbers of birds in one area by up to 80 percent in 3 months within a range of 30 metres around the device.

This is the most permanent and economical way to prevent access for any species of bird. A stainless steel wire with a high-quality netting is installed around an area, providing a very secure solution and long-term results. The specialised netting is created with the most advanced technology in bird netting. Crafted from polyethylene, our netting is U.V. resistant, making it durable and able to withstand the hot Australian sun. We offer a variety of netting options in different colour and sizes depending on your preference and the species of the offending bird/s.

Shock System

A highly effective method to banish all feral birds from surfaces. This system provides a high voltage, low amperage electric shock that does not harm the birds but results in a repellent effect when they contact the shock track stripping. Once shocked, the birds do not usually return and learn to avoid the protected area in the future. This solution does not harm birds or humans.

Anti-roosting bird spikes prevent and deter birds from perching and resting on your property. Due to their high flexibility and varied sizes, spikes (glued or screwed in place) can be used on different kinds of surfaces including windows, pipes, ledges, and wherever birds roost or nest. Particularly effective on pigeons, seagulls, and mynas; common feral bird offenders who damage storefronts with their faeces. They prevent birds from landing and building nests without actually harming them.

Tension Wire

This system can be placed on almost any surface but is perfectly suited to window sills and ledges. Thin wires prevent the birds from landing and building nests. This solution is more discreet than spikes.
