How Does Termguard Work?
The Termguard system is based on providing a contained system of termite protection within the footprint of the house to protect the life of the home.
The Termguard system accurately distributes only the required amounts of termite control agents into the system protecting the structure. This method of chemical application is the only approved method which allows a partial chemical barrier to be used in conjunction with the slab built to Australian Standards, which is certified by the Australian Building Codes Board.
This technique eliminates the need for open air hand spraying; eliminating the risks of airborne exposure of termite control agents to the public, workers and animals.

Perimeter & Armoured Shield System
The Perimeter Retreatment and Armoured Shields System provides a cost-effective option for Builders and Home Owners. While the Armoured Shields offer physical protection to the plumbing penetrations, the perimeter of the structure is protected by the Termguard Perimeter Retreatment System.
As shown in the diagram, the plumbing penetrations are protected by our patented PVC shields, whilst high quality external perimeter piping is used around the house to provide replenishable termite protection.
- The Perimeter Retreatment and Armoured Shields System complies with the Australian Building Codes Board National Certification #97/001, National Registration Authority Approvals, CSIRO Appraisals # 198 & 212 and BCA compliance
