1. Do not leave dirty dishes in the kitchen sink overnight
2. Keep workstations free from food scraps
3. Instruct staff to keep all food in the refrigerator or sealed containers
4. Ensure all garbage is regularly removed from the premises
5. Install tight-fitting fly screens and draft excluders on doors to seal up gaps
6. Clean out gutters regularly
7. Repair leaking taps
8. Keep grass around your property cut short
9. Don’t leave cardboard boxes, bags or other debris lying around
10. Book regular pest inspections with a reputable pest controller
