Flick Anticimex strengthens its market share position in the north of Victoria by completing its acquisition in regional city of Wangaratta. The acquisition of Economic consolidates the local operations in the regional geographical regions of Albury, Bright, Mansfield, Euroa, Shepparton and Yarrawonga with Wangaratta as the central hub within the general pest and residential services.
Economic was established in 1974 by Ron Ackerly senior. Stephen Ackerly bought into the business with his father in 1995 and has since grown the business with the support of his wife Anne Ackerly. Economic has a strong presence in the Wangaratta area and will support a geographical expansion of the Anticimex services;
